ConKiruna – For young people, by young people in the Kiruna area
The project is run by the study association Sensus. A group of young people are creating a convention together in Kiruna in February 2024. The project period is 2023-04-06 to 2024-07-01.
Purpose and goals
The purpose The aim of the project is to give participants a strengthened self-esteem, new knowledge, and new networks. The purpose is also to meet young people's needs to learn how to organize and carry out cultural events where networking is the focus. The project creates sustainability within culture in Sweden.
The goal The aim of the project is to:
– Carry out a large convention in Kiruna
– Create new networks among young cultural practitioners in the leader area
– Have guest lectures on equality, diversity, and democracy
– Start new youth groups within the leader area and pproduce a film
The activities in the project is to market through various channels, build networks, and organize different groups of young people in music, photography, film, and arranging. Book speakers, arrange, and execute the convention.
