Apply for project support
When the idea has matured, is well thought out, and can be formulated into a concrete project, it is time to apply for project support. The application is made to the Swedish Board of Agriculture, but we will help you get started and through the entire process.
Before the application, you need to have prepared all application documents; ask the office so you can be sure that all materials are correct.
The application process
Power of attorney
Designate who among you will be responsible for filling out the application and apply for power of attorney from the Swedish Board of Agriculture. The person needs to be an authorized signatory for your association/organization or have a power of attorney from the authorized signatory. You will also need to send along a protocol showing who is the authorized signatory. As soon as you have been registered by the Swedish Board of Agriculture, you can log in to the Swedish Board of Agriculture's ”My Pages” and start the application process.
While you wait for the power of attorney, you can start looking at the questions in the application for support.
The application
Always contact the leader office before you start an application. Go to My Pages on the Swedish Board of Agriculture's website. Log in with, for example, Mobile Bank ID and go to E-services within My Pages.
- Select project support/investment support and business support and start the service
- Select to start a new application and fill in the requested information
- Select locally led development through Leader and check support within Leader-locally led development 2023-2027
- Choose the area of intervention in consultation with the leader office
The questions you need to answer depend on which area of intervention suits your project. They are about having a concrete idea with background, purpose, and goals. You will describe what you want to do, why, and how, as well as what is needed. You will also share the expected results and what happens after the project period. You should attach a budget, activity plan, and cost documentation to your application.
The application is decided by the board
Your project is decided by the Tornedalen 2030 board at special decision meetings (dates are available in the calendar) i calendar)based on the decided selection criteria. The board uses the selection criteria to make an objective assessment of the projects and to evaluate whether they should proceed in the selection process. The projects are scored based on the strategy.
If the project meets the requirements and receives enough points, it will be prioritized. The leader office processes the application, and then the final decision is made by the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
