Purpose and goals

 

The purpose of the project is to strengthen the area's cultural identity and
entrepreneurship by further developing traditional products from
Tornedalen, developing new ones and promoting collaboration between different cultures, with a particular focus on harnessing young people's creativity and innovative working methods.
The goal of the project is to create 7 new Tornedalian products and increase knowledge among young people about Tornedalen's history and traditions as well as the remanufacturing and preservation of craft products through 8 workshops, a study visit, 40 circle meetings, and an event.

Project budget: 2,723,321 kr

Project support SJV: 1,824,625 kr
