Purpose and goals

The purpose of the project is to facilitate and develop opportunities to travel over the river during the months when we do not have navigable ice roads. The tourism industry can be developed with passenger transport over the river to various destinations. The project also contributes to increased opportunities for socializing and cultural exchange across the border.

The goal of the project is to enable communication over the Torne River through the purchase and establishment of a boat landing site, purchase of a boat, and 6 bicycles..

Total budget: 711,399 SEK

Project support SJV: 476,637 SEK
