The project is run by Haparanda parish. Based on a preliminary study, a safety point is created for the local population. Facilities are furnished, activities are created for children and youth, and an outdoor stage is built. The project also plans an inauguration. The project period is 2023-04-26 to 2024-12-31

Purpose and goals
The purpose with the project is to create a natural gathering place, a safety point for
the municipal population in the northern part of Haparanda municipality.
The goal The aim of the project is to:
– Furnish the facilities for activities and build an outdoor stage
– Market and carry out an inauguration of the gathering place
– Create and start at least 5 activities for children and youth in Karungi
The project consists of:
Project management, furnishing and construction, marketing.

Total project support: 852,702 SEK
Project support SJV: 571,310 SEK
Other public support (LAG): 281,392 SEK
